Effective date: August 14, 2026 · Last updated: August 14, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“Customer,” “you”) and SignageHome (“SignageHome,” “we,” “us”) governing access to our digital signage platform, websites, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, pairing a device, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts & eligibility
You must provide accurate business and contact information during registration. Business accounts may require email verification and administrative approval before full access is granted. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for all activity under your workspace, including actions by location managers you invite.
You may not share device pairing codes outside your organization or attempt to pair screens you do not control. Pairing codes are single-use, time-limited, and issued only through the Service.
2. Subscriptions, trials & billing
Paid plans, trials, and add-ons are described in the portal at the time of purchase. Fees are billed in the currency shown at checkout. Payment processing is handled by Stripe and/or Razorpay; we do not store raw card numbers. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in the billing dashboard.
Taxes may apply based on your billing location. Refunds, if any, follow the policy stated at purchase or required by applicable law. Failure to pay may result in suspension of content delivery to devices until the account is brought current.
3. Customer content & licenses
You retain ownership of media, templates, schedules, and other materials you upload or create (“Customer Content”). You grant SignageHome a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Content solely to operate the Service for you — including delivery to paired devices and Chromecast receivers.
You represent that you have all rights needed to use Customer Content and that it does not infringe third-party rights or violate law. We may remove or disable content that appears unlawful, harmful, or in breach of these Terms, and we may scan uploads for malware before making files available.
4. Acceptable use
- No unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or infringing content on screens you operate.
- No attempts to bypass authentication, pairing, rate limits, or security controls.
- No reverse engineering of the Service except where prohibited from restriction by law.
- No reselling of the Service or device tokens without our written consent.
- No uploading of malware or content designed to disrupt displays or networks.
5. Devices & network responsibility
You are responsible for hardware, power, local network connectivity, and physical security of screens. SignageHome provides software and cloud delivery; we do not guarantee uninterrupted display during outages of your ISP, venue Wi‑Fi, or third-party casting platforms. Offline playback, when available, depends on content previously synced to the device.
6. SignageHome intellectual property
The Service, branding, software, documentation, and default templates (excluding Customer Content) are owned by SignageHome and its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always render identically across every device model.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignageHome’s aggregate liability arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the fees you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for screen downtime at your venues.
9. Suspension & termination
You may cancel your subscription as described in the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, legal risk, or misuse. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete Customer Content after a reasonable retention window unless law requires longer retention.
10. Governing law & changes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to SignageHome’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer or local law provides otherwise. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
